A super mare with EH Caprimond stamped all over her!
When Hope was graded in 2007 the following comments were made by the judges - “A super typey mare with a classical head, harmonious in the body and overall a really lovely mare”.
Her sire Holme Grove Solomon was awarded “Top British Bred Dressage Sire” in 1998 and UK Elite status in 2010. Hope’s dam Holme Park Holy Night is a beautiful black mare whose dam was awarded Elite status and whose sire is the famous Elite Stallion Caprimond, one of the top Trakehner Bloodlines. Caprimond had an exceptional career both as a sire and ridden horse. In 2002 he was ridden by a 10 year old boy at several Stallion Shows demonstrating all the Grand Prix movements including a piaffe pirouette and ridden by Theresa Wahler at the young age of 14 winning her 1st Prix St George. Caprimond is highly valued for his siring ability to produce offspring with beautiful heads and necks and superb rideability, all of which our little Hope has certainly inherited.
Hope is a very genuine character with huge amounts of give and loyalty and an outstanding mum. She has been under saddle since the end of last year and shows incredible willingness to please.
This mare is currently offered for sale to a 10* home as a broodmare or a would make an outstanding dressage ridden horse with a competent rider.
