Checkpoint is hugely talented in both Dressage and Jumping and is also considered to offer valuable breeding qualities.  He enhances both height and frame in his progeny and has produced some outstanding youngstock showing true  and many of their father’s excellent traits with energetic movement particularly in the up hill trot and impressive expansive walk. He is a very strong jumper and jumps without effort with excellent technique whilst also showing great talent and transmission in his dressage movements.

Checkpoint was placed 9th out of 29 participants in his 70 day performance test as a 4 year old and a Premium stallion at his grading in 2001.  He has the phenomenal founding stallions Arogno, Flaneur and Habicht on his father’s side.   His mother Corna was the Federal Champion of German Riding horses and later was a successful  Grand Prix Dressage Horse.

His son Keatinge Harvard is an impressive big framed quality colt who shows great promise for either dressage or jumping and we are delighted with him.

..Carefully chosen, in 2008, Checkpoint  seemed a perfect match for our little Holme Park Hope - we wanted her foal to have a little more elegance and longer legs and achieved just that - ‘Keatinge Hudson’ , born in 2009, is very sporty, can definitely jump and has superb movement - a great match and very pleasing results..
